- Advice from Crimestoppers on personal safety for

- Rape Aggression Defence (RAD) is the US organisation
- who have trained thousands of instructors
(including Elaine and Julie) to teach personal safety
courses for men, women and children
- The children's course we teach was created by an
- American organisation called radKIDS which has taught
its safety programme to more than 200,000 children in the USA
- Julie is an ambassador for the Joyful Child Foundation which works to
protect children from sexual abuse and abduction
- Erin Weed is the founder of Girls Fight Back, an organisation dedicated to
teaching girls and women across the US how to defend themselves
- Maiden Voyage is a network for women business travellers and has lots of
useful information about female-friendly hotels, safety tips and how to
join the growing network of members
